October 13-19 is National Veterinary Technician Week!
If you’ve ever experienced an emergency with your pets’ health or safety, you know how meaningful it is to have a knowledgeable and compassionate technician care for them!
Veterinary technicians are critical to the day-to-day function of animal hospitals, and play vital roles in preserving animal health and welfare. National Veterinary Technician Week, first celebrated in 1993, takes place in the third week of October each year, and provides an opportunity to recognize veterinary technicians’ contributions.
Although we value our veterinary technicians every day of the year, we take this week to honor their commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for our patients.
Our TLC technicians have over 200 year’s combined experience!!! Many of our technicians have achieved certification as Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT), and pursue continuing education in the field.
Our TLC technicians are listed below (with years’ experience in parentheses):
Fidel (30), Kristine (20), Robert (7), Tony (30), Vannessa (3), Vanessa (1), Janel (14), Cindy (20), Mary Z (19), Kate (9), Mary S (13), Rob (5), Arturo (8), Susana (18), Michelle (10), Marvin (21), Ben (0.5), Leaundra (4.5), Dava (7), Stephanie (15), Britnee (1), Liz (8) and Roger (5).
